How to get to our Rifugio al Faggio:

BY CAR

Brennero Motorway A22 – exit Rovereto Sud/Lago di Garda nord. You Reach Riva del Garda where you take the state road nr. 240 to Pieve di Ledro, here you see the road signs for “Valle di Concei” and then continue through the Concei Valley to the Chalet Rifugio al Faggio.

ON FOOT

There are different paths of varying difficulty leading to our chalet.

From Lenzumo via the nature trail at the bottom of the valley.
Leaving the car just after the village of Lenzumo, in “Ciuco”, continue on foot along an easy path that runs at the bottom of the valley. This path is suitable for all abilities and offers a charming walk through fresh woods and clearings; you will reach Chalet Rifugio al Faggio in a couple of hours.

From Rifugio Pernici via path no. 420
While not particularly difficult, this path is quite demanding. From Bocca di Trat, take path 420 that winds around the peaks of Val Concei offering wonderful and unique views of the valley. This route takes around 6 hours.

From Lenzumo via path no. 455
Having reached the former central location, where you can park the car, continue on foot via the path that leads to Monte Cadria; from here continue in a northerly direction on path 455. This route has similar characteristics to the previous one, being, in fact, its continuation. Walking time is around 8 hours.

BY MOUNTAIN BIKE

Climbing from Lago di Ledro you arrive at Bezzecca and then continue towards Locca. There’s an easy route on a paved road on the edges of villages. Having passed through Lenzumo you can decide whether to continue on the main road or try the nature trail that runs along the bottom of the valley. You arrive at the Chalet in an hour and a half from the Lake. The climb from Riva del Garda along the Ponale roadis particularly spectacular.

WITH SNOW-SHOES
